A study in the tension between civilized surface and savage instinct, this playis a satisfyingly primitive
entertainment with an intellectual veneer.God of Carnage follows a deceptively simple plot line – two sets of
parents meet to cordially discuss a playground fight between their sons. What follows is a slow unravelling of tightly
wound personalities, and a descent into violent, childish behaviour by the parents themselves.
